Thomas Greiner becomes CEO of the Dussmann Group.
2006
Together with two partners, the Dussmann Group takes on the non-medical services of the Charité university clinic in Berlin - the largest contract for services in the hospital sector in all of Europe. Dussmann Service enters into the field of stadium catering.
2005
The highest turnover in company history. 1,238 million Euros, is achieved. The Dussmann Group focuses its strategy on two growing markets: Integrated Facility Management and services for senior citizens.
2004
Dussmann Service is named caterer of the year. Kursana acquires hospitalia care and becomes the leading private provider of seniors' services with 80 facilities.
2003
The Dussmann parts with unprofitable operations, improving earnings. Peter Dussmann becomes chairman of the supervisory board. Dussmann Service wins the biggest contract in its business history: Infineon Technologies AG awards all its facility services Europe-wide to Dussmann Service.
2002
Dussmann Service launches Vitalance, an innovative nutritional concept for seniors. The Dussmann Care Concept offers comprehensive services to health and social institutions.
2001
Despite market deflation, the Dussmann Group's turnover rises to 1,202 million Euros. Dussmann Service takes on catering for the German parliament in Berlin. Kursana adopts nine new seniors' institutions, making it one of the top private providers of seniors' facilities in Germany.
2000
A total turnover of 2,280 million DM makes the Dussmann Group Germany's number one multi-service provider.
1997
"Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus" opens in Berlin, the media store with the longest opening times in Germany.
1995
The Dussmann Group operates in 20 different countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Luxemburg, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, and Vietnam.
1992
For the first time, company turnover exceeds 1,000 million Marks.

Dussmann Service opens 14 branch offices in East Germany - one of the first service providers to do so.

The Dussmann Group has more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

The first Kursana residences open in Germany.

The first Pedus Office opens in Munich. Within the next twelve months, ten further offices follow.

The company becomes a specialized multi-service provider, now also offering full catering, housekeeping and security.

Having started at 10, the company employs 1,000 members of staff.
