Dussmann Service Secures Forensic Facilities
02/18/2009 – The branch office Dresden takes on security services for the clinic for forensic psychiatry as from March 1st.
The walls are 5.2 meters high, the window are barred or made of security glass: The conversion of the clinic for forensic psychiatry in Großschweidnitz will be completed in summer. The center belongs to the Saxony Hospital Großschweidnitz and is a “closed facility”: Patients are here as a result of a court order.
Dussmann Service is responsible for ensuring that only those who are authorized may go in or out. The branch office Dresden takes on security services for the clinic as from March 1st. Security staff patrol the facility 24-hours a day and manage entry control.
Construction work at the clinic for forensic psychiatry commenced last year resulting in a new gymnasium, a metal and wood workshop and a security wing with entrance controls manned by Dussmann Service security staff. During the transition period, patients were accommodated in another part of the Saxony Hospital.
